Bitcoin ATMs Could Be Delivered to the US This Year
Bitcoins, the virtual-world currency which is not legally recognized as real money, is starting to attract more and more entrepreneurs, at least two companies planning to ship out Bitcoin ATMs to several cities in the United States before the end of this year. The first companies to ship ATMs in America are said to be Robocoin, a firm based in Las Vegas which will provide the first machines in Canada later this year, is expected to supply cities like Los Angeles or New York City with around 12 to 15 ATMs during this winter.
Furthermore, representatives of another Bitcoin company, Lamassu, expressed the idea that the firm will ship 15 bitcoin ATMs in October 2013 to no less than 13 nations, which include China, France, Brazil, Australia, Finland and the United States. America will thus host such apparatuses in Atlanta, according to the CEO of Lamassu, Zach Harvey. Furthermore, Harvey explained that California operators are also interested in purchasing such machines, but the regulatory framework currently prevents this kind of transactions. Even so, California entrepreneurs are considering moving their operations to Washington in order to be able to use Bitcoin ATMs.
At this point in time, Bitcoins are generated through computers, and individuals can transfer them with extreme ease, since this kind of currency is not recognized as real money currency, but many online users are already making transactions through internet sites which use them. Thus, Bitcoins can easily be used by operators who seek to create online casinos.
