California has Another Chance to Get into Online Poker
Officials from California have been trying to get online gambling legalized for more than a year now, and it looks like they may be covering some ground in that area. There have been two different bills that are looking to get online poker legalized within the next year. This is refreshing news, after the original online poker bill was quickly shot down when it was introduced around a year ago. There simply was not enough support for it to happen.
The first bill, bill no.51 has been being looked over since December and they still haven’t come to a decision about it. The second bill, bill 678 has just been introduced by Senator Lou Correa, and it looks like it may have more support than the older bill does.
Both bills are for online poker specifically, and it does not look like there will be a complete casino solution online anytime soon. If California does happen to legalize online gambling it will be a powerhouse in the industry, according to information that was put together by Casinowebscripts researchers. California will have a distinct advantage over most other states, with one of the largest populations in the nation to feed off of.
