Delaware is in a Hurry to Start Offering Online Gambling
Delaware became the first state to officially allow legalized gambling back in the middle of 2012. Now that we are in 2013 they are trying to be the first state to actually have a casino up and running. The Delaware State Lottery is trying to get together all the necessary people to get the online gambling off the ground and actually going.
They put in a request for proposal which basically means that they want any qualified candidates to tell them why they should be hired to participate in online gambling within the state. They have already been looking over any gambling licenses that have been submitted and they have approved a total of 19 different licenses so far.
With each of the bids that are submitted they want the chosen companies to be able to go live with a casino by September 30th of 2013. Any iGaming Casino Software Supplier or casino developer, who can meet that demand will help Delaware be the first state to offer online gambling which is a pretty big deal for the state. Not only will it help them build popularity and boost the number of people using the online casinos, but it will also open doors for partnerships later on in the future.
