Delaware Online Casino Gambling Generates $188,000 in June

Online casino games suppliers and online gaming companies in Delaware are part of an industry that has raked in $187,944 during June 2014. Delaware currently houses only 3 online casino firms since November 2013. Even so, experts said that the results for last month were lower than expected, online poker revenue dropping significantly.
Like so, internet poker in Delaware fell from $57,470 in May to no more than $25,507 in June. The online poker revenue result is the lowest since internet poker was launched in Delaware in 2013. Since the beginning of 2014, April online gaming results were the highest, reaching around $240,000, but slumped in May, when only $175,000 were collected.
Online casino games suppliers and industry experts explained that the significant drop in online poker revenue was influenced by the World Series of Poker event which takes place during summer. New Jersey has also been affected by this event, taking into consideration that numbers for the state’s gambling industry also decreased considerably last month. Even so, Nevada stayed on top of its game, with an online poker industry that generated no less than $820,000 in May.
Fortunately for online casino games suppliers and internet casino operators, online casinos in Delaware have managed to rake in $162,337, which represents a whopping 124% increase in revenue compared to the $175,602 generated in May. More than that, the number of player accounts for Delaware online casinos has increased by 16.7% from May with 399 new accounts being opened in June.
