Hollywood Always Had A Thing For Casinos

There has been an ongoing trend in Hollywood where they show casino heists in movies. Hollywood has a way of glamorizing stuffs and casinos heists have often been the main plot in various hit movies.
21 was one of the first movies that set the entire theme around poker, gambling and gaming. It was based on a real life story of a black jack card counting team from Massachusetts institute of technology.
Even Rainman features casino heists, although, there was a slight take of humor and comedy in it. Yet it turned out to be another movie that showed how casinos could help you be rich and live the life you dream of.
While talking of top casino movies, one has to mention the super hit flick by Martin Scorsese titled “Casino” itself. It showed the early days of casino in Vegas when they were run by the Chicago mob.
The latest names to be added have to be Oceans 11 and Casino Royale. While Oceans 11 shows the entire casino planning gone awry and how a group of people find themselves in a spot of trouble. Casino Royale is a James Bond flick where Bond is poisoned in the casino during the climax of the movie.
A new movie starring Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck has been announced too. However it will not be showing poker in limelight and this has led to some concerns among gambling companies that offer solutions to start land based casino. Yet, it looks likely that the world of casino gaming and poker is here to stay because there are too many people who are hooked to it.
