The original online gambling bill that Nevada put in place did not allow them to set up any kind of relationship with other states. The latest gambling bill has made it possible for interstate gambling to occur, at least in Nevada itself.
Nevada is well known for their gambling industry, and many states would be willing to follow their lead with gambling because they are considered to be a more experienced state.
Since it looks as if the state is going to be one of the first states to actually have online casinos, and they are taking the time to make sure it is done right, there is a good chance they will become the go-to state for partnerships.
