Texas Regulator Pushes for Federal Online Gambling Law
Operators looking to buy casino games are aware that the American online gambling regulatory system is a subject of extreme controversy nowadays. Despite the fact that several influential people continuously push against the legalization of the industry, and some states already decided to create individual online gaming legislations, Texas Republican Congressman Joe Barton still believes that a federal online solution is achievable. Barton explained earlier this week that he is in favor of a federal regulation which will legalize online poker in the United States.
Barton has previously introduced the Internet Poker Freedom Act in the summer of 2013, but it has not made much progress up to now. The Republican explained that a federal legislation would represent the most logical and efficient solution for the United States gambling industry. Barton also added that the legalization of online gaming in Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey only emphasizes the significance of a uniform and consistent federal legislation. Besides that, he said that because all gambling laws in the American states are different, an uncertainty which could put players at risk is created. Furthermore, Barton explained that he will continue pushing for the legalization of online poker until the American gambling system offers an honest and fair solution for all residents.
