Why Washington is Apprehensive about iGaming

There are currently many states that are practically sprinting toward online gambling and allowing companies to open online casino and then there are other states who don’t want anything to do with it at all. Washington State is located somewhere in the middle of those two sides. By being in between the two extremes it is much like many of the other states around the country who have not passed any gambling laws concerning the Internet yet.
There are plenty of supports for iGaming in Washington state, but there are also more than a few politicians who are very opposed to it. After all, the state did go through the steps to turn online gambling into a felony that could land someone in prison for five years for participating. Whether or not the supporters of gambling over the Internet are going to be able to persuade the rest of the skeptics that it is a good idea remains to be seen.
